I personally met Kolby his freshman year. I was shocked to see a young player with such poise playing on the varsity basketball team. Three years later, Kolby's calm yet competitive nature is still there. Kolby's composure was tested last Friday when Carroll was losing to Harlan for three quarters. While behind, Kolby had to take two series off for injury, but came back to the game to defeat Carroll High School's biggest athletic rival 35-32.
Off the field, Kolby is a pretty quiet kid, but polite and always listening. Kolby shows the same poise with his school work and shows the conduct that underclassmen can look up to.
